Very odd. If the mouse did mot work under UBD it should not have
worked after a reformat. Windows is so unscientific. Maybe you should
have smeared chicken blood on the case?

reformat. I downloaded a backup program, Acronis, and put it on the
machine this morning, then rebooted, in addordance with
