I was on the phone with HP tech support yesterday for 4.5 hours getting a refurb L7680 correctly installed on a Compaq laptop. We ended up running a program from the CD (some level 2 repair?) which uninstalled the HP printer drivers, and then had to do the install again. Ultimately, the 7680 printer got installed and is working through the router, but during the process, a second HP printer (which is used at a different location), is no where to be found. It will be interesting to see what happens when they try to reinstall the second printer again. It does seem like there's an incompatibility somewhere though.
