We bought a laptop for my wife to do her school work, the idea being to get rid of a desk in our home and make some more room. After about 8 months she just decided she wanted her desk back because while the laptop was full size (numeric keypad etc) it was just not right for lots of home use. I built her a computer for about 250 and now we use the laptop for other things.
