Hi Simon (and others),

Thx for the leg & detective work!

It's a long week-end in my time zone AND its 30+ degrees C so motivation is 
more towards imbibing suitably chilled alcoholic liquids than geeky 
persuits. :)

I will continue my GUI development awaiting a reply / fix / ? from Phil.

BTW(1): I echo your thanks to the developers of harmony/concordance. When, oh 
when, will hardware manufacturers realise the error / folly of their ways!

BTW(2): Alpha release 1 of Koncordance due in a few days. (Yes, it _has_ to 
start with a K to fit into the KDE paradigm! ;)

BTW(3): I'll sign my emails as Kev rather than just Kevin to reduce the 
confusion with the superbly named Mr. Kevin Timmerman! :D
