But maybe it's the one from Natty.
Just checked: Indeed the latter is the case. I usually check what Ubuntu's update-manager wants to remove and often vote to keep one or the other tool (i.e. I vote to keep all of them and clean up later with aptitude by checking the "Obsolete and locally installed packages" section) and that way I kept two xulrunner versions (1.9.2 and 2.0). Due to the lack of xulrunner on Ubuntu Oneiric, the conkeror packages are uninstallable. Nevertheless conkeror would run if installed (i.e. you can run git checkouts of conkeror that way): I just started conkeror on my Ubuntu Oneiric ARM-based netbook without xulrunner but with Ubuntu's official Firefox: $ firefox -app /usr/share/conkeror/application.ini With the exception that the "about:" page still shows the orange-blue Firefox logo while Conkeror usually doesn't , it feels and behaves as expected. So my current plan is to update the conkeror .deb (mostly the wrapper script and the dependencies) so that it can be used with Ubuntu's Firefox, too. (Interestingly Thunderbird doesn't seem to have such an -app option, so you can't use Thunderbird instead of Firefox here. Bah.) I'll let you know when that plan is implemented. I may also setup an appropriate PPA for bringing Conkeror back to Ubuntu at least non-officially. Stay tuned. :-) Oh, and if anyone is interested about the reasons for the removal of Conkeror (and xulrunner) from Ubuntu, please read https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/conkeror/+bug/761929 and don't blame Ubuntu but Mozilla's new release politics for it. Micah, who asked for removal, probably cared most about the conkeror package in Ubuntu before the removal...
