Somehow I'm surprised that this hasn't been more widespread yet. I
heard about this just one or two times before, once on the list and
once on IRC or so. And until this thread on the list I never tried it
as didn't need it.

Because of this, I'm a little bit reluctant to advertise it there,
too. If this way has not much more side-effects than already known,
I'm also for advertising it.

John: Do we have any experience how reliable this is in general? Are
there more known issues like the one with the about: page? Or why
hasn't this been promoted before?
