Beth, We don't consider any coating a long-term barrier for wood products, nor do we consider a "pass" on an Oddy an indicator of performance for very long periods. There are too many variables and limitations to the testing. However, we've found a few 2-part epoxy coatings that had better performance than others. Because they are commercial paint products we test them every time they are used, and add pigments in-house so we have control of colorants. The most recent that offered an excellent result was Benjamin Moore Super Spec p42 Waterborne Epoxy. Patty
