I have been asked to treat a version of the sculpture "we run through a
desert on burning feet, all of us are glowing our faces look twisted". The
sculpture is placed outside and pebbles are falling off. For treatment the
artist has provided a bucket with pebbles an adhesive in powdered form and
different colorants. The bucket used to contain the adhesive Syncoll
102.83, but as the bucket now contains many different things, I have no way
of knowing if the powder is indeed this adhesive and if it is the adhesive
used for this sculpture.

Does anybody have experience with conserving these works (there are several
around the world) and are you willing to share your experiences. I would be
very interested. please reply to [email protected].

Thank you
