Hey all, I have also heard of the Irish Set Dances referred to as quadrilles. And yes, they are generally not called or cued, except perhaps in situations where people are just learning a dance that is new to the group. And the Irish sets/quadrilles are generally constructed of 5 or 6 figures w/ a chorus that is repeated between figures.
