FWIW, Since the smeserver-php5-cgi contrib can't be installed directly from the
smecontribs repository at the moment, I was thinking of trying to do it the old
way (as per http://sme.firewall-services.com/spip.php?article46). But it seems
that the old method of installing php5-cgi is also affected by the same bug:
