This does not appear to work. The geneweb service does not start.
What I then did was add a new config key
config set gwd service
config setprop gwd status enabled
signal-event post-upgrade
signal-event reboot
Upon reboot gwd is running
/etc/rc.d/init.d/gwd status
gwd (pid 4517) is running...
Rather than do the workaround, I think a symlink is needed from geneweb to gwd
to fix the original issue.
