I changed the theme to Twenty Twelve and then installed the theme I wanted
directly from the Wordpress admin panel and the site has reappeared.
:-)))
I checked using WinSCP and the directories for plugins and themes are still in
/opt/wordpress/wp-content but obviously not being 'visible' to the current
install of wordpress. Where is it now?
