Hello Arnaud
I went back to the backup box today to see what had happened
the affa reported error (712) rsync failed with status 11
However
I see a lot more files this time. Could it be running programmes on the prodbox
interupt rsync ?

will try to run a local backup. Will keep you informed.
As the server is over 250 KM away from where I live, it is not very easy to
reinstall a SME server
