            Bug ID: 9217
Summary: Cannot use \n in auth_error line
    Classification: Contribs
           Product: SME Contribs
           Version: 8.2
          Hardware: ---
                OS: ---
            Status: CONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: smeserver-gitweb
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

When the Networks DB is unreadable I get this (see
https://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9202) :

<div class="index_include"><br /><br />500 Internal Error - <b>Error:</b> Could
not open the networks database!<span class="cntrl">\n</span><br /></div><div
class="page_footer">

Seems that you can't use a \n in a auth_error line - no idea why.

I think some of these possibly need modifying ? I had a play but can't seem to
get a newline to work.

/etc/e-smith/templates/etc/gitweb.conf/60ExportAuthHook:79

"Could not open the networks database!\n"

Also possibly on line 70

database!\nDoes
file?\n

And on line 73

database!\n
