New (initial) version of mailstats script to cope with qpsmtpd 0.96.
Ok, I've had a first go at the mailstats perl progrma, and it seems to process
Michaels log ok now.
Main problem was that the logterse line had changed its internal identification
a little.
Also the spamassassin log entry seems to have lost some details (is there still
a loglevel parameter to qpsmtpd?), and there where no virus or geoip
notifications in the log file.
It also encountered a few "new" plugin names:
earlytalker, uribl, naughty (!), resolvable_fromhost and loadcheck. I've
categorised them all as Non Conformance, except uribl as RBLDNS. Not entirely
sure if that makes sense, I presume that the loadcheck checks for multiple
concurrent emails, and rejects them over a threshold. Could be a new category
if that is what was wanted.
Suggest those who are running 0.96 should try it out, and/or perhaps upload
their log files for me to run through it.
I'll look into moving my own mailserver across to the new qpsmtps in the next
few days.
If you want to try it, then just copy the above file into /usr/bin
