maybe webmail does not catch only webmail but all email originated from
127.0.0.1, meaning all emails sent also by daemons for admin reporting, which
make sens to have a lot after midnight ( daily cron scripts, the present email
from mailstats ... if so 14 does not seems abnormal on a production server with
some contribs to me)
