Too much "noise" in those for me to work out what they are trying to tell me.
B-)
So I'll fall back to dehydrated -c and those digs but flushing both
dnscache.forwarder and dnschache.
djbdns-1_05-11 works (-10 basically didn't). After flushing both caches look
ups take around 1/2 to a second longer than the -8 version, we are talking 3 to
4+ seconds. Both -8 and -11 have occasional look up time outs straight after
flushing both caches. Note I wasn't flushing both caches when testing -8
before.
Subsequent lookups pre TTL expiry are instant (0 ms), just after post TTL
expiry 30 to 40 ms, at some time (minutes) after a TTL expiry the lookup goes
back to seconds but not as long as the 1st lookup after a flush. Look up
failures appear to only occur straight after both caches have been flushed.
Presumably becuase getting all the akamai information is taking too long?
