Good job Brian - almost there.
Before you do you diff take your 'copy' files out :-)
i.e remove these and then run the diff again.
my_functions (copy).php
openssl_functions (copy).php
You should have an entire copy in the .old directory so you lose won't
anything.
Spec file - just add 'sme' to the end of the line here as per previous lines
