Bug ID: 10771
Summary: NFR: Allow unused/unwanted versions of php to be
removed
Classification: Contribs
Product: SME Contribs
Version: Futur
Hardware: ---
OS: ---
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P3
Component: smeserver-php-scl
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
QA Contact: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
With smeserver-php-scl installed my system is downloading updates to SCL PHP
packages almost weekly (Apr 10, Apr 3, Mar 14, Mar 8, Mar 5, Feb 9, Jan 21, Jan
5, Dec 23, Dec 14, Dec 6).
Since I have all my SCL-enabled ibays set to use PHP73, I would love to be able
to tell smeserver-php-scl to uninstall the versions I'm not using -
php54
php56
php70
php71
php72
If I try to uninstall them manually:
> yum remove php54-*
I am told:
> --> Running transaction check
> ---> Package smeserver-php-scl.noarch 0:0.4-23.el6.sme will be erased
> --> Finished Dependency Resolution
