It might be that with auth basic sever default domain Is presented until auth
is obtained but seems strange.
Well-known issue seems to me unrelated.
Checking at http headers might help. Or better having access to the presented
certificate before auth and after auth and presented domain.
It seems also un plausible that the self signed certificate is presented as it
should not be anymore in the configuration when letsencrypt is enabled.
