--- Comment #2 from Rod Egan <[email protected]> ---
On my production sme10 (upgraded from sme10rc1 and with sme9.2 config restored
to it) after I do a reinstall of smeserver-mod-dav the /var/run/davLocks folder
is recreated with an owner apache:www
On a fresh sme10 build the same however the folder is owned by www:www
On my sme9 migrated to a vm same folder apache:www
Don't know if this is of any significance.
Confirm that /var/run/davLocks folder doesn't survive a reboot on sme10. Note:
it was just a plain reboot, no reconfig.
Might be onto something here
https://serverfault.com/questions/400947/folder-disappearing-from-var-run-upon-reboot-with-ubuntu-12-04
https://forums.centos.org/viewtopic.php?t=54275
suggests that /var/run is a temp filesystem and the folder needs to be
recreated when the service/daemon is restarted , maybe httpd(?)
