The change to /var/run from part of the normal filesystem in centos 6 to a
tmpfs in centos 7 suggests that any other install that creates a folder in
/var/run and doesn't recreate it a service/daemon reload would have a problem.
maybe move the folder or (and I don't know enough about systemd) the systemd
start need to make the folder. Which I seem to remember a couple of the files
creating lock and/or pid folders at startup.
