That is just apm_emu.  Probably compiled into the kernel in the BenH,
while it's a module in the Mandrake kernel. You can load it by adding it
to /etc/modules as I mentioned in another post.

So I guess there's no benefit to moving to the new kernel then aside from
the scanlogic adapter.

/etc/power/pwrctl, where you'll read about creating a local
/etc/power/pwrctl-local

also /etc/sysconfig/power
