Or for that matter, the installed kernel either. Now it's possible the mirrors never did get the final installer image, which then would lead to the type of results you're mentioning. The way around that is to use everything but Mandrake/RPMS on the 8.2 install ISO, repopulate the RPMS directory and regenerate the hdlists. This would all have to be sitting on a partition somewhere on your local machine/network.
