Try rm -f .DCOPServer*

(Not sure if this is the correct case or not - machine's not up at the
moment)

I know on 8.2 x86 on my laptop, I have to do this fairly regularly or KDE
never finishes loading.

I haven't really been running KDE, as Laurent releases new versions so
rapidly, and you can't build kdebase with kdebase installed. My hard
drive finally came in, so I think I'll be using the Powerbook to actually
run/use cooker as my daily machine, and continue to build on the RS6000.

I'll check on libgailutil, may just be a missing package on the mirrors.
Once Frederic is back from vacation, I imagine gnome updates will pick up
the pace.
