because the layout for yaboot is a little different.
Any ideas how I can get my cooker install back up and running without
doing a reinstall of it as well?
If it's recent cooker, yaboot/ybin files have been moved:[stew@powerbook stew]$ rpm -ql yaboot /etc/yaboot.conf /usr/lib/yaboot/addnote /usr/lib/yaboot/ofboot /usr/lib/yaboot/yaboot /usr/sbin/mkofboot /usr/sbin/ofpath /usr/sbin/yabootconfig /usr/sbin/ybin
Maybe there should be a %post script in yaboot to check /etc/yaboot.conf to make sure that install= and magicboot= are pointing to the correct directory. And do some perl magic if they aren't.
