Aren't Diskdrake and yaboot two separate things?

I'm using yaboot to configure right? I can't get to Diskdrake until I finish the setup with yaboot. Unless I'm just confused and diskdrake is part of yaboot. Is it that part that allows me to move the partitions around? I have told that part - whatever it is - I thought it was yaboot... I told that thing to clear all the partitions and let the thing set it all up for me. I had to go back and get it to make a usr directory for me. Why for the life of me I can't figure out why it did not set that up automatically. You sort of need a usr directory don't you?

Anyway, how specifically do you get this thing to make the 1MB boot partition.

I think that they need to work out how the install routine works. It's flakey. I know that when I set up a machine using yellowdog it was much more straight forward. I ,may try YDL tomorrow in the lab and bail out of Mandrake. I'm not seeing the solution or the documentation for how to do this easily.

Shouldn't it be setting the boot partition for me and allowing the 1MB to be placed where it needs to be from yaboot? I must be missing something here.
