Not exactly sick of it, but it seemed the "right thing" to do. Even though I'm supposedly on staff, I barely have any more rights than folks in the community. I have to go through the same BS to get PPC patches into packages, and in some cases just have to maintain my own patch set. It stinks, but I do what I need to do to get the packages out. I understand your frustration and feel a lot of it myself, but I really have no clue what to do to fix it. I try to just focus on the task at hand, to get out a decent 9.1 PPC. Beyond that I really don't have any expectations.
