That iBook optimized kernel is my work and in fact it's nothing more than a benh kernel with an iBook optimized .config file, ripping out all the unnecessary stuff you will find in distro's default kernels. As I know from my work on gentoo kernels, there should be no major trouble on applying XFS patches to a benh kernel.
