Two news, a bad and a good.
good first: Install is complete
the bad: the freshly installed cooker don't boot:
"kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k binfmt-0000, errno =2"
(repeated two times)
"kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k block-major-8, errno =2"
"VFS: Cannot open root device 08:02"
"Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 08:02"
My config:
a Dell optiplex with an adaptec scsi adaptator.
Is the initrd generation omitting the necessary scsi module for boot ?
Hoops, another problem at lilo install when I try for a floppy boot:
"no floppy device avaible at /usr/bin/perl-install/lilo.pm line 32"
I check the mirror and if news, I retry.
