maybe
could you find out the problem. Just after the lilo step, you can go and find
out on the console (F2):

chroot /mnt  (and get a real bash)
check the /mnt/etc/lilo.conf
check the /mnt/boot/initrd-*.img by mounting it in -o loop

well for the lilo problem, i don't think i'll change as i don't know what to
correct.
