ppp-2.3.9-1.mdk

New install, including home. Just fired up kppp as user, entered my PAP info and
went on line. Seems to be working with ftp, Netscape, kmail OK.
What is this error message?
    modprobe: can't locate module char-major-108
There seems to be a delay before logging on.
