And sometimes they aren't (i just had to restore from a
append="ide2=something_bad") Had i tryed to reinstall i'd have same
problem no?

You know, i've never actualy looked to see how it handles lilo =X

I haven't had the problems :/ what type of errors were you recieveing if
any?
