First go round on 7.0b failed to work on my LAN installing with cdrom.img.
I installed Oxygen on a server behind my firewall. The protected network
is on 192.168.1.0/27. The setup script suggested a default gateway of
192.168.1.1/27 and a DNS of 192.168.1.11. The actual gateway should be the
IP address of the e0 on my firewall. I changed the gateway address, but
when setup reaches 'Cryptography', it fails to connect to any ftp server.
The reason is 'Bad peer address'.

I found out why the ftp failed after the server rebooted. There were route
statements to set the gateway to 192.168.1.1. That was not the address I
specified. Netconf didn't help at all. I made the changes and clicked
'Activate Changes', but the reply was 'Nothing Changed'. The only way I
found to correct it was to manually remove the old route and add the new.

I haven't fished through the install script yet to see what changed. I do
know that I never had this problem installing 6.1 or 5.2.
