The only problem with that is that if you install packages from other
sources (than your "local" configured source and the "installation"
source), you get the following kinds of errors:
no package named gnotepad+
no package named alsa-lib
no package named librep
no package named rep-gtk
no package named sawmill
no package named sawmill-gnome
no package named xforms
no package named xmysqladmin
Any ideas of a quick easy way to get around that, short of manually
editing the output of the rpm -qa before feeding it to urpmi?

That's what thought. But will rpmf be smart enough to check "updates"
when 7.0 becomes final and they start appearing?
