With rpm-3.0.3-44mdk this works fine, but with the latest, I can't build RPMS with the correct $RPM_OPT_FLAGS. RPM thinks I have a i386 and not an i586, I even tried rpm -bb --clean --target=i586 kernel-2.2.spec, and the CFLAGS changed to -O2.
