Can NVIDIA's binary only drivers be included in cooker / 7.1? Or at least in
contrib?

The licence on nvidia's site - http://www.nvidia.com/drivers/xfree86_40.html
- seems to be very restrictive

However I guess that many people would like to have 3D support with their
TnT/Geforce working right out of the box. Newbies for example may have
troubles installing it, since the binary files on nvidia's site only work
with Redhat's 6.1 2.2.12-20 kernel

Here's a sample of the licence from
http://www.nvidia.com/drivers/xfree86_40.html
