This is not putting many company off linux.
It make no *real* difference in selling a software with or wo source code,
except competitive issue.

I don't care of non free software on linux :
there will always be an open source competitor.

I care about non open source driver which is a real issue with linux.

I'm paid for develloping free sofware...

Read above, i don't care about pure software (and they can be sold with source code ).
I care about driver.

I don't mind paying for software, but all software that i need is availlable
for free.

I think there is a really little number of people in this community relying on this,
people do what they have to do at job time, and the other stuff at free time, which,
unfortunnelly lead to not much free time when you're using this one for free software
development :)

Many software company are paying their developer for developing free and
open source software. They make money ont the support / marketing operations /
selling the software to company which need support.

 It is well known that M$ product don't make a free() after a malloc(),
the unix community wish them good luck for their future developement.
