Yes, it is only symlinks, directories and support files.

Wait a second... if you tried to install apache1, and some php script
that requires mod_php, it looks like the installer kind of "locks"
mod_php, even if you install apache2-mod_php after.

But this is not a problem, since you can install both apache versions
and both mod_php versions in parallel, and switch from one version of
apache to the other by the commands "advxrun1.3" or "advxrun2.0".
