Also, you can't mount ext3 with the acl option, so I guess acls are toasted on ext3 too. We are going to need a kernel update for this very soon if anyone wants to have a good reputation for 9.1 (specifically samba use) ... 8.1 through 9.0 had working ACLs, and Redhat 9 will be the first release with ACLs ...
