We are going to need a kernel update for this very soon if anyone wants to have a good reputation for 9.1 (specifically samba use) ... 8.1 through 9.0 had working ACLs, and Redhat 9 will be the first release with ACLs ...
Though there's been no support in fileutils (at least in 9.0, didn't have time to upgrade to 9.1 yet) and last time I checked, some months ago, the redhat rpm had it.
