I am having a problem with lilo. I get a fatal error message like the
following when I try to do a lilo -v
Fatal: /dev/hde filesystem is read-only
I am using UDMA 66 on hde. Initial install went fine, but I can not
write to the MBR on subsequent "upgrades" or by using lilo -v. Very
weird, never had this problem before.
Anyone have a similar problem. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. I would like to make sure I am running the latest kernel.
Upon boot, the labels displayed when I hit the tab key are not the ones
I have in /etc/lilo.conf, they are old ones.
Thanks,
Brian
