Thanks for the feedback.
No virus checkers, turned firewall and ipchains off. I installed at
Security level 4(High). What that means, I am not too sure. Tried it
again (lilo -v), no luck, same error message. Something like:
Fatal: read /dev/hde filesystem read-only
