The problem isn't with them though.  It works fine on older Cooker, and I imagine 9.1. 
 I suspect glibc, but haven't verifyed that.  I'm going to try building libao as a 
static library and linking it into mpg321 and compiling it all with -g to see if gdb 
can help me (any better ideas?).
