I know it is a matter of taste, but I really hate those flower, landscape, animals and so on on my background. They are too distracting. Some I like: http://art.gnome.org/backgrounds/gnome/242.php http://art.gnome.org/backgrounds/gnome/217.php http://art.gnome.org/backgrounds/gnome/209.php http://art.gnome.org/backgrounds/gnome/208.php http://art.gnome.org/backgrounds/gnome/110.php Just an idea. What I really would like is to take all backgrounds in http://art.gnome.org/ and get them packaged. It looks easy, just grab them from ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/teams/art.gnome.org/backgrounds/ and put all them on a gnome-art-backgrounds package. There are tons of very nice backgrounds there... Uhm, they are GNOME specific, but sure there is a similar site for KDE... TIA -- J.A.
