Windows builds don't have it at all, and I don't remember seeing it until about 1.3.x, which is when we switched to GTK2 IIRC. I guess I should see if Knoppix has a GTK2 build ... it's very irritiating in text boxes, the address bar, and the Messenger search bar ...
