Unfortunately for my uptime, i upgraded to 2.4.21-0.25mdk -BTW shouldn't
the -0. changed to something more appropriate ? final is out ...-.

Again, i downloaded 150+Mb to get it and imagine what ?
I had to enter again rpmdrake once downloaded to install it !

What is the point ? kernel-source is installed directly but not kernel
itself, i think this is not consistent !
If it is a security upgrade, it should prompt the user to install the
kernel (if not done automatically, there should be a message telling him
that he must go into rpmdrake and install it), thereafter another
message should prompt to tell the user that he SHOULD reboot onto the
new kernel in order to have a safer running configuration, with maybe
reminding that he could have to install back some drivers (NVIDIA's,
ATI's, or whichever you think of ...)
