I have access to a few different types of video hardware.  One is based
on standard BT hardware (software encoding), but others are using
hardware encoders both in PC104 and PCI form factors.  I'll see what I
can get for you regarding information.  Most of this hardware has
applications in video surveillance, but maybe it will be useful to you
in your functions as well.
