Hi, I am running the latest 2.4.22 kernel from cooker. When i shut down I get this:
Turning off swap: Unmounting file systems: umount2: Device or resource busy umount: /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1: not mounted umount: /: Illegal seek mount: / is busy Halting system unregister_netdevice: waiting for eth1 to become free. Usage count = 2 The last line is repeated indefinitely. I have to cut the power on the machine to halt it. I tried to boot with the latest kernel from 9.1, No problems like this. I have also noticed an error message when I boot. It's the first message after LILO, something about an IDE driver and "swsup" or something like that. I am running Reiserfs and use a pcmcia wireless network card (works fine but may be the netdevice not shutting down). Ideas? -- //Christian Registered Linux User #228949 at: http://counter.li.org/ -- What if it all means something? --
