Yes I am.

I thought I would get away with not having to run that kernel one more
time since it really causes files system problems having to hard
reset the machine, but I did and this is the the error messages:
ide: late registration of driver.
Swsusp 1.0.3: Missing or invalid swap partition location (resume=
parameter). Disabled.
This is the two first messages showing up in the graphical boot
window. It's not the first in my dmesg though. These two error
messages are not present when I boot the 2.4.21 kernels.

I tried to shut down the network. No problem. But the pcmcia service
won't shut down. I guess that's the problem? It just hangs there doing
nothing. I tried to reboot without pcmcia enabled without problems.

I tried with two different wireless network cards:
Linksys WPC11 and a Proxim RangeLAN-DS. They both use the orinoco_cs
driver. Another oddity is that when I boot the machine I have to
restart the network for the wireless card to connect. I didn't have to
do that in stock 9.1 It also shows up as a Tekram card in the
graphical boot window. However if I do a "cardctl ident" after boot it
shows up as what it is: A Linksys WPC11 card.

Nope, the pcmcia service won't shut down.
